Where should I start if I’m thinking about going on a mission trip?

Start by joining our email list and attending one of our upcoming missions interest meetings. You’ll learn about upcoming trips, how to prepare, and how God might be calling you to serve.

Do I need previous missions experience?

Not at all! Most of our team members are everyday people who simply feel called to serve. We’ll provide training and support along the way.

Are there missions opportunities for families or kids?

Yes, some trips and local outreach opportunities are family-friendly. Let us know you’re interested, and we’ll help you find the best fit.

What if I feel nervous or unsure?

That’s completely normal. We believe God often calls us out of our comfort zones to do incredible things. Our leadership team is here to pray with you and walk alongside you as you take your next step.

How can I support missions even if I’m not able to travel?

You can support our partners through prayer, financial giving, or serving with local outreach teams right here in our community.

What kinds of local outreach can I get involved in?

From homeless outreach to nursing home visits and supporting crisis pregnancy ministries, there are opportunities to serve every month.

At the heart of every mission trip and outreach effort is a simple yet powerful truth: love takes action. We go because Jesus first came to us. Whether across the street or across the world, we believe that the simple act of showing up—serving, listening, praying—can change someone’s eternity. Every meal shared, every prayer offered, every hand extended is a reflection of God’s love reaching into real lives and real situations. This is why we go. This is why we serve. To be the love of Jesus in action.

Caring for children and supporting sustainable agriculture projects

India Gospel Outreach (IGO)

Establishing and supporting church plants and Bible colleges in India, to include India Bible College (equipping leaders and pastors), and Gilgal (providing food and shelter to destitute, orphans and widows)

Offering resources from the Great Commandment of loving God and loving others.

Salvation Army**

Meeting practical needs and offering hope along with our local New Braunfels Salvation Army unit.

First Footing Program**

Operated by NB Housing Partners, First Footing helps people who are homeless and no longer want to be homeless. It’s a 66 bed facility, providing medical care, mental healthcare, recovering lost documents and help with building resumes - the things needed to help an individual become independent again. Freedom Fellowship supports by providing a hot meal and serving the residents every 4th Thursday of each month, as well as give encouragement and the hope of Jesus. Freedom Friends**

Ministering to Nursing Homes in our community. Bringing friendship, prayer, music and support to seniors. Residents love to see children too. There is a birthday celebration on the last Saturday of each month. Contact JDMartinez for more information.
